Student stunned to be Kanye's only friend

A Coventry student has found himself thrust into the limelight - after Kanye West made him his one and only friend on Twitter.

Steve Holmes is baffled as to why the rap superstar decided to follow his tweets on the social networking site, reports The Sun.
The rapper has acquired more than 400,000 followers himself after less than a week on Twitter but is following only one of them.
The bemused student replied to the rapper the moment he became the 'Chosen One' by tweeting: "Holy s**t bro, thx for following!"
To which West replied: "You are the chosen one dun dun dun dun."
Mr Holmes is now under the spotlight from thousands of Twitter followers, some of whom have been angered by Kanye's decision to follow Steve instead of them.
He tweeted: "I feel pressure to say amusing and witty tweets now that @kanyewest is following."
However West threw his support behind Mr Holmes, telling him: "Tweet strong young man tweet strong!!!"
But his most recent tweets suggest he is starting to feel the pressure of his unexpected attention.
"I won't be speaking to anybody else, surprisingly not everyone wants to be famous. That's all I'm saying - peace out x," he wrote.
